Grandpa's Garden Illustration: Part II

I couldn't resist, I had to give this illustration a bit of colour...

Grandpa's Garden Illustration

This is an illustration I recently completed for an independent local 'zine titled, This is What We Wrote . This is What We Wrote is a black and white publication 'made to honour the work created in a 6-week series of poetry writing workshops offered at the Center for Addictions and Mental Health, in the Patients Library. These workshops were proposed and lead by members of the Toronto Poetry Project' (Tanya Neumeyer, This is What We Wrote Introduction) My illustration is paired with a piece titled "Grandpa's Garden" by Kathryn Lang. This is What We Wrote will be available June 2009

How's the Rash?

This Illustration Friday topic is Contagious. This seems quite suiting considering this week I fell victim to the sweet scent of my coconut lime body lotion yet again, not having learned from the last incident. And yes, yet another rash... I guess I owe the Pledge an apology...

My Extreme Card Shop...

(*Click on Image to Enlarge) After the Mind Mapping workshop given by Morgan Smith this past Friday, he suggested that we exagerate our business idea, no matter how ridiculous whether it's to the extreme or to its absolute smallest form possible, to free our minds and promote brainstorming ... which resulted in this comic. My greeting card company, with a budgie as its mascot, pushed to the extreme... Enjoy ~

Illustration Friday: Parade

Illustration Friday: Hierarchy

I didn't know if I would get the chance to post this week for Illustration Friday but I'm glad I managed to pull it together to illustrate my pet hierarchy... Enjoy!

A Card for Mustard...

Another Mother's day card design. This one's for my sister...

Cavacas Card for Grandma

With Mother's Day coming next weekend, I've been busy making some cards... This image is going to be used in my grandma's card. She is the master at making fantastic cavacas, a traditional portuguese dessert.
